Virgin
Comics October Previews...
If
you read the Spotlight page last week, you know we got a
look at the first issues of three of Virgin's books.
They
were readable and interesting. Some of the art came from
what Gotham Chopra described as the Indian comics tradition,
but really, there is nothing jarring about the style.
Let's
face it -- Indian comics look pretty much like American
comics. Only the stories are foreign, and even that's a
misnomer.
The
more we read Virgin, the more we'll see the stories are
the same.
So
dig into these advance solicitation descriptions, and check
out the covers Virgin has sent our way.
The
Amano alternate cover at right for Seven Brothers is the
largest the image gets, but all the other thumbnails will
click onto bigger images.
